Bonjour Arles — Oct 13

I am sitting at Calendal, a cute little hotel in Arles, a modest sized town in Provence, only miles from the Mediterranean Sea.

We woke up in Gordes and not that it mattered much, because we were checking out anyway, but there was no electricity in our home.

Joël Robuchon’s L’Atelier — Oct 18

One of the things Paris is most well-known for is its markets, or marchés. There are over 80 of them in the city. One could make a whole trip to Paris, just around visiting marchés! We did a little research in the market book we brought from the states and choose Raspail Marché.

Biking Amsterdam — Oct 23

It’s my last night in Cocomama.  The Gastronomic plus Amsterdam Tour has come to a close.  Bittersweet feelings dwell in my heart.  The hundreds of hours of planning have come to fruition, birthing what currently feels like a lifetime of experiences, and yet, traveling, like eating, is temporal.

Halfway on Road to Hana — May 29

I am an early riser by nature, but when hanging in the tropics, I am even more so. The first sign of dawn and I am up and at ’em. The mosquitos had a field day on me last night, but I scratched myself like a mad woman and shrugged it off.
