There are lots of reasons to visit France. But for me, it is all about the food. French cuisine is revered around the world. In fact, most excellent restaurants use French cooking techniques in one way or the other. It’s all about taking simple ingredients and coaxing the maximum flavor out of them, using generous portions of high quality animal fat. France is also the cheese capital of the world. If anyone ever tells me they don’t like dairy, I turn them onto French cheese and immediately I have a convert. France oozes charm and extraordinary food from every nook and cranny. The food of France has to be tasted to be believed.
