The United States of America – it is so large and the landscape and political climate is so broad, that it easily could be broken down into a handful of countries. When I left home at the age of 19, I traveled in hippie style across the country, so many times, that I set foot in 49 states. I certainly have my favorite regions. Yet, I’ve seen gorgeous things in every state I have visited.  I can wholeheartedly say that I am proud to live in such a beautiful and dynamic country full of natural treasures.  For those of you that live here and have not explored all the regions, do yourself a favor and check out your proverbial backyard.
